# Acquiring properties held in a trust

Looking at properties in my area and the Current Owner is displayed as LASTNAME, FIRSTNAME TRUST. Does this mean the owner of the property is a trust? If so, are there any special considerations that need to be taken into account when using a preforeclosure strategy of acquiring properties held in a trust?
