Yes, it does, but just like marketing any product it can take time to build a brand and a following. Social media has made it much easier to market your restaurant on a limited budget. Facebook ads can be very effective and is a good place to start. However old school methods do work, although they take a little more effort and imagination. Postcards, phone calls, door to door marketing, reaching out to other businesses in your area and cross-promoting each other can all be extremely effective in building your brand and getting the word out. Use demographic/new homeowner data to find a target market.
