Does restaurant marketing even work?

I am a new restaurant owner and am trying to find ways to keep the business going. Things have been steady since our opening but now comes the challenge of bringing people back for more.

Yes, it does, but just like marketing any product it can take time to build a brand and a following. Social media has made it much easier to market your restaurant on a limited budget. Facebook ads can be very effective and is a good place to start. However old school methods do work, although they take a little more effort and imagination. Postcards, phone calls, door to door marketing, reaching out to other businesses in your area and cross-promoting each other can all be extremely effective in building your brand and getting the word out. Use demographic/new homeowner data to find a target market.
