Can a HUD lien survive a trustee sale at the auction?

I have bought a property at the auction and realized after the fact that there is a lien from 2014 in favor of " Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (lender) MIN# NA. ". Need to know if the trustee has the right to transfer the title without clearing that? Thanks!
