What is the maximum time an owner or lender can cause a NTS to be postponed?

Does anyone know the maximum time an owner or lender can cause a NTS to be postponed? I have been wondering if it is worthwhile to search for properties that have already been postponed several times and are near their time limit? Does anyone know if there is any benefit in doing that?

The sale can be postponed for up to one year before the trustee would need to cancel the sale. They would then need to post, publish and record a new Notice of Trustee Sale to set a new sale date.
We are in unprecedented times in terms of the number of postponements and cancellations. Although you can look at the postponement reasons for clues we have not seen any trackable trends that indicate when a property may actually go to sale, cancel or postpone.
