It will depend on if you are a tenant or the previous owner. There are laws that do allow for a tenant to stay in the property after the sale. If you are the previous owner, it will depend on what the new owner wants. You will want to work with the new owner to determine a date. Sometimes the new owner will offer a cash for keys.
