What does it mean when you see a recording on the grantor/grantee index that says ASGT Trust Deed, and specifically, one that is recorded after both the NOD and the Notice of sale have been recorded?
Sounds like it is an assignment of the deed of trust. They are probably just cleaning up the recordings to make sure the foreclosure can’t be challenged for not having been assigned to the current beneficiary. I’d recommend getting a copy of the doc to be sure.

Not that I’ve heard of, though I imagine if there was an issue with an assignment it could call into question the validity of the sale.
