As I research tile and tax information on properties, it appears that most of people who are going through the foreclosure process and are losing their properties are current on their property taxes. I am curious to know if others have the same experience. Why do people pay their property taxes while they are behind their payments and know they are going to lose their property?
The property taxes are probably being paid by the lender out of an escrow account.
